01 — Boudoir

A private boudoir experience, beautifully guided from first conversation to final artwork.

At Photo Nottingham, boudoir is handled with warmth, taste, and direction. Every session is shaped around the woman in it — personal from the first conversation, and finished with portraits worth holding on to.

03 — How it works

From first conversation to final artwork

A boudoir shoot raises questions before it answers them. The whole experience is designed to feel clear, calm, and properly held — from the first conversation right through to the day itself.

First, we talk

We begin with a real conversation about you.

Then, you prepare

Thoughtful guidance on how to arrive feeling ready.

On the day

You are never left to work it out alone.

Afterwards

The experience becomes something lasting.

First, We Talk

We begin with a real conversation about you, your comfort level, your ideas, and how you want the experience to feel.

Then, You Prepare

You receive thoughtful guidance on what to wear, what to bring, and how to arrive feeling ready — even if this is completely new to you.

On the Day

Hair, makeup, styling, posing, and direction are there for you. You are never left to work it out alone.

Afterwards

The experience becomes something lasting. Portraits, albums, and artwork that honour this version of you beautifully.

04 — Stories from the studio

Every session has its own story.

These are real women who walked through the door unsure, and left with something they had not expected. Told in their own words.

  • 01 Rachel Rachel had put this off for three years. She had convinced herself she was not the type. Her session took less than an hour to feel completely natural, and she left with portraits she calls the best photographs ever taken of her.
  • 02 Claire Claire booked as a gift to herself after a hard year. She was not looking for glamour. She was looking to feel like herself again. She said afterwards that she had forgotten what that felt like.
  • 03 Nadia Nadia came in with her own ideas — a specific mood, a particular piece of jewellery, music she wanted playing. Her session was built entirely around those things, and the photographs show it.
05 — What it is

A Premium Experience, Handled with Care.

For something this personal, most women would rather talk things through properly than stare at a long list without any context. This is not a rushed transaction or a generic package menu. It is a tailored boudoir experience shaped with time, guidance, and artwork in mind.

Enough clarity to feel confident. Enough care not to reduce it to a list.

Frequently asked questions.

Most women have questions before they book. These are the ones that come up most often — answered plainly, so you can decide with a clear picture of what to expect.

01 Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all. Direction is part of what the session includes. You will never be left to work it out alone or asked to do something that doesn't feel natural.

Almost everyone does. Nerves settle quickly once you are in the space, and the session pace follows yours entirely.

Neither is required. Most women wear something, but the choice is entirely yours and there is no expectation either way.

A guide is sent ahead of the session with everything you need to know. You do not need to prepare beyond that.

Yes. Nothing is shared without your explicit written consent. Your images belong to you.

06 — Gift Vouchers

A gift that feels thoughtful, personal, and genuinely memorable.

For the partner who wants to give something more meaningful than the usual present. A boudoir gift voucher is personal, properly guided, and far more lasting than simply giving another thing.

Not sure how it works? We can talk that through.
